October 10, 2010Sunday, October 10 will meet at the
Hallstead Sunoco, Hallstead, PA
at 7:00 A.M.
or at
New Milford Bike, New Milford, PA
at 7:15 A.M.
(if planning to Carpool)
and bring our wheels to the Bloomsburg, PA. area
We can begin our voyage to the
Covered Bridges of Columbia County, PA
by way of Dirt Roads
across the Hills to each Bridge
and be home by nightfall.
Ride should be good for 40 miles of
Hilly Terain at a Steady Touring Pace
on Mountain Bikes
Need to be self-contained. (Water & Food)

Meet at 10:00 AM - Ready to Ride
at the East & West Paden Bridges
(Twin Covered Bridges)
just outside of Forks, PA – Columbia County
at the intersection of Route 487 & SR 1020
Take I-81 South - 79 miles
To I-80 West - 24 miles
Take exit #236B Lightstreet Road (PA-487 N)
Turn Right on Lightstreet Road (PA-487 N)
Continue to follow PA-487 N to Forks, PA - 8 miles
GO to the intersection of Route 487 &
SR 1020 (Winding Road) see sign for Bridges
Park at the lot of the Twin Covered Bridges
East & West Paden Bridges
